Posting for Sharon Township Fiscal Officer Position

Sharon Township is looking for a new Fiscal Officer to serve the remaining term through March 31, 2028.  The obligations of the fiscal officer include maintaining all of the fiscal responsibilities of the township, such as keeping accurate records of financial accounts and transactions, creating statements of receipts and expenditures, issuing checks, preparing payroll, and receiving revenue as it is distributed to the township. Additionally, the fiscal officer maintains an accurate record of the proceedings at all trustee meetings. By law, eligible candidates must live in Sharon Township, but may live in the incorporated areas of the Township. The candidate must also be able to be bonded.
