Christmas Tree & Yard Waste Collection
If you did not already know, Sharon Township has yard waste pickup included with your Local Waste services! Three trucks come around each Monday to collect trash, recycling and yard waste. Yard waste is required to be completely separated from trash, since it is not allowed in the landfill, but can still be placed at the curb next to your trash and recycling. Board of Revision Mobile Filing Events
The Franklin County Board of Revision (BOR) is holding in-person filing events to answer questions regarding property values and assist homeowners in filing a complaint if they believe their value is incorrect. Sharon Township Trustees Place Fire Levy on May Ballot
The Sharon Township Trustees voted to place a 2.34 mill fire levy on the ballot on January 28, 2026. This vote occurred after meeting each Wednesday in January, including a meeting at Tree of Life Church, on January 21, 2026. The issue of the fire levy has been discussed at various meetings of the Sharon Township Trustees since September of 2025. The fire levy will be on the ballot on May 5, 2026.
