Sharon
Township trustees appointed Gregory Chase, to the Office of Sharon
Township Fiscal Officer in July of 2003. He was then elected
by the people to that position for the first time in April of
2004. Mr. Chase is currently serving his second elected
term as Fiscal Officer for Sharon Township.
Greg was born in
Akron, Ohio. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in
Accounting from the University of Akron in 1992. After
graduation from college, Mr. Chase worked as a Cost Accountant for a
local merchant.
He and his wife Shannon moved to the
Worthington area in 2001. In addition to serving as Fiscal Officer
for Sharon Township, he currently works as a Registered Nurse at The
Ohio State University Medical Center. His wife grew up in
Worthington, and has strong family ties to the community. Greg and
Shannon have four young children together, Landon, Riley,
Collin, and Parker.
