John Oberle

   I want to thank the citizens of the Township for electing me to my second term as Sharon Township Trustee. My wife Lori and I have three wonderful daughters. Professionally, I am an attorney with Schottenstein, Zox & Dunn helping clients deal with the complexities of government. I plan on using my 14 years of experience in government to improve the quality of life in our Township. We have a good team serving the Township, but I hope to hear from Township residents on how we can improve the Township. Thank you again for the opportunity to serve you.

Jack Moss

 Jack Moss has been a Sharon Township Trustee since 1996. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from The Ohio State University and a Masters degree from Xavier University. He is a retired teacher and coach, having taught in the Worthington school system. Jack gains a sense of accomplishment from helping to maintain vital Township services provided by the Police and Service Departments.

Since he took office, the Trustees have successfully established a waste disposal district. This allowed the Township to enter into a bidding process wherein one company was awarded the exclusive right to pick up residential waste in the Township. As a result, residents were afforded a discount in the cost of their trash collection. One of the benefits of this has been limiting the number of trash haulers on Township roads, thus saving on road maintenance. Jack commented that, "I have enjoyed the challenge of being able to help solve problems involved with the operation of small government, and I will continue to do my best to serve fellow residents."
